Happy 1 Month to Granola2Glam!

I've had a lot of fun blogging and sharing my wardrobe experiments here. I guess I could start a tradition deemed "Month in Review". I will call this April and only post my outfits from April (even though we're now in the 8th day of May).

I am so shocked I didn't wear any black. Just 2 months ago, I hardly had a speck of color in my closet. Thanks so much for going along for the ride!

Teal & Blue: Who Knew?

J.Crew Skirt, $118

Ok, so this is such an amazing color combo. Too bad IF I were to order this skirt it wouldn't ship until 6/6/11. I've got to replicate this look within my "economically chic" budget. Here's how I would do it.

There you have it- the entire outfit replicated for much less than the $118 pricetag for the JCrew skirt only.

Thrifted and Untucked: Happy Friday!

The sun went down and it got chilly quick!!....burrrrrr my legs look a bit blue.  I give credit to the liquid pants that went on after happy hour.

What a SUPER WEEK! I worked in Madison, WI Mon-Tues, came back and kicked butt at work, celebrated Cinco de Mayo and ended the week at Happy Hour with my hubs. I am loving life!! The weather has been so nice I decided to dress in my spring goodies.

We took these pictures after a super yummy happy hour...therefore, my skirt did start tucked in, but as you can see, I had to untuck it! I think it still looks fine...who cares anyway?

OUTFIT

I am so proud, as a new found thrifter, to say: my skirt (Anthro brand), sweater (J.Crew Brand), and purse are all thrifted!

My necklace is from UO on sale for $9.99. I'm soooo happy with my $1.50 bracelets from F21- they are soooo worth my hard earned 6 quarters!

The top is from Target and I've had it for a few months.

I should've taken a more detailed picture of the purse, but it was $12 at local thrift store- with the tags still attached!

Loving This Nerd Dress!

How cute is Tania (from What Would a Nerd Wear) in this dress from Spotted Moth?  Can you believe it's only $36 and comes in these two fab colors?   It looks much better on her than the mannequin. You might just see this on me in the next few months :)

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!
Hubby and I moved to Northern California from San Diego where Cinco de Mayo was practically a National Holiday. I would definitely say more so than the 4th of July.

That is not quite the case in NorCal, but we made the most of it and had a night full of Mexican food, margaritas, and cervezas. As I type this, I really want a siesta!

OUTFIT:
The dress is by Merona from Target. I love how I can dress it casually (granola), like I did here, or dress it up with a blazer, tights, and pumps for work (glam).

I picked up this belt from Target yesterday and I love it! I love stretchy belts :) for obvious reasons like wearing it to Cinco de Mayo dinner.

Everything else I have worn and featured on this blog before.
